The latest range by Papillon Belle is influenced by the Art Deco movement and pays homage to the original inspiration behind the brand.
After inheriting two pieces of jewellery containing real butterfly wings from her grandmother, owner Audrey Botha embarked on a six month journey to create a modern range of heirloom quality jewellery inspired by butterflies.
Butterfly jewellery was popular in in the Victorian era and featured heavily in design during the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods. The Art Deco range by Papillon Belle embraces a contemporary take on this classic genre.
Do not spray perfume or other sprays directly onto your gold plated jewelry. Wait until your lotion or cream is dry or has been absorbed by your skin before you wear your gold plated jewellery. Remove your gold plated jewelry when you exercising or swimming. Clean your plated jewelry with a cotton ball or a very soft cloth to remove any dust and dirt it has acquired. To avoid scratches, keep your jewelry in its original packaging separate from other jewelry.
Papillon Belle offers a replating service for all gold plated jewellery at a nominal fee.
